DC HealthCare Alliance Open Enrollment Period
There have been recent transitional changes to the DC Healthcare Alliance
program that created an open enrollment period. Associated with this
transition have been deadlines for members to change plans or notify the program
of their desire stay in their current one. On June 30, 2008 the open
enrollment period came to a close.Though
the enrollment period has ended, members have a 90 day choice and lock in
period. Once a member has selected an MCO or one has been selected for
them, members have 90 days from their enrollment/effective date to change their
selection. After that time members can only change their MCO on their
anniversary date, unless they have “good cause”. Our objective is to
provide the clearest understanding and educational resources to assist you as a
