Beginning May 1, 2008, you will have more choices
for your family’s healthcare! The DC HealthCare Alliance will now have
three health plans in the program:
Unison
Health Plan,
Health Right
or DC Chartered
Health Plan. Your benefits will
stay the same. However, here are a few important things you should know about
and things you will need to do:
- By June 30, 2008, you
must contact the DC HealthCare Alliance
to choose a health plan, even if you want to stay with your current one.
If you do not choose a health plan by June 30, 2008, a computer will choose
one for you. To keep your current health plan and change plans, you
can:
- Call the Enrollment Office, (202)
639-4030, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Our Call Center staff are
available to help you with your selection, or
- Visit the DC HealthCare Alliance
Enrollment office at 1820 Jefferson Place, NW, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00
p.m , where our trained staff can help you in the language you speak,
or
- Fill out a Plan Selection Form and
mail it or fax it to:

enrollment site or outreach event to make your choice
Important: If you
do not choose a health plan by June 30, 2008, a computer will choose one for you
